Colfax homeowners don't need another sales pitch about their roof — they need someone who shows up, explains what's actually wrong, and fixes it right the first time.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Colfax, WA job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Roofing crew we send to Colfax.
Ask to see our Colfax, WA license and insurance certificate and you'll have it in your hand before the estimate even starts.
We've replaced enough botched patch jobs from other companies to know exactly what corner-cutting looks like a year later — drywall stains, soft decking, mold nobody can see yet.
Every lead installer carries current Colfax, WA credentials.
A midnight call gets the same urgency as a noon call.
You approve a number before the crew touches your roof.
We already know Colfax's weather patterns and permit process.
A roof rarely just fails one day — it usually spends months quietly showing signs that get written off as cosmetic.
Homeowners in Colfax often mention they'd noticed something off months before calling — a stain that seemed to fade, a shingle that looked slightly out of place after a storm.
Heavy granule loss usually means the shingles are nearing the end of their service life.
Once a shingle starts warping, its seal against wind-driven rain is already compromised.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
Stains grow slowly, which is exactly why they get ignored until they spread.
Rooms that run noticeably hotter than the rest of the house often trace back to roof or attic issues.
A bare patch after high wind is a direct gap in your roof's weather barrier that needs covering right away.
Not every call needs the same fix, so we scope each Colfax job individually instead of running everything through one generic quote.
Below is the full breakdown of what we cover in Colfax, so you can see roughly where your situation fits before you even call.
Downed branches, torn flashing, and wind-lifted shingles all fall under our emergency response scope.
From a few cracked shingles to a complete tear-off, residential jobs get scoped against manufacturer spec, not a rough guess.
Flat roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water problems early.
We'll tell you honestly whether your roof needs a full replacement or just a targeted repair — we don't default to the bigger invoice.
A proper inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule wear before small issues become leaks.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general repair crews often miss.
We keep this process the same whether it's a single shingle repair or a full Colfax tear-off, because a predictable process is part of what makes a stressful roof problem manageable.
A dispatcher logs your address, roof type, and the problem, then schedules based on urgency.
The inspection covers decking, flashing, and ventilation, not just the obvious visible damage.
Financing and insurance-claim questions are addressed at this stage.
A final walkthrough confirms everything matches the agreed scope.
None of these reasons are unique claims in the roofing industry on their own — what matters is that we actually deliver on all of them together, on every Colfax job.
Being local means we're rarely the crew still driving in from somewhere else.
The number you approve in writing is the number on your final invoice, barring an approved scope change.
Certifications stay current so material warranties remain valid after installation.
Every job includes a written labor warranty separate from the shingle manufacturer's coverage.
We're not your insurance company, but we make that part of the process easier.
Some roofs need a full reroof; plenty just need one honest repair.
Our guarantee covers our labor specifically: if the completed work doesn't match the agreed scope, we correct it at no extra cost.
We also guarantee the number on your estimate — barring a scope change you approve first, that's the number on your invoice.
We'd rather explain a guarantee in plain language upfront than have a homeowner discover the fine print later.
